The interview process was of two major sections. The first section involved extensive interaction with the HR coordinator and the CEO of the company, stretched out over several days, held over phone/Skype. This stage of the interview is less on an interview/evaluation and more of a freewheeling discussion on various topics. There was a task based on evaluating the idea of creating an app, using the Lean Canvas as a planning tool. The candidate is given ample time and opportunities to understand the concept and critically evaluate an idea. This is the stage where you essentially get a feel of how transparent the company is and the work culture here. Once they ascertain that a candidate would be able to fit into the culture, the candidate is also asked if he is comfortable with the culture he has experienced an if he would like to proceed with the process. Should the candidate choose to proceed, the next stage would involve testing of the relevant skills. This stage culminates in a one day process at Multunus' office, where the practical aspects of the job applied to are tested. Resumes and mark sheets are not looked at and the candidate is given a live situation/case to work on and the decision on hiring is made based on performance in this task.
Overall the interview process only tests those aspects and skills relevant to the position that the candidate has applied to and would be straightforward to crack for the candidate with the required skill-set.
