I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Sep 2013
Interview
I applied on their website, and it was a few weeks before I was contacted by a recruiter. During that phone call, basic questions about why I was interested was ask, and what shows I would be interested in interning on. They also asked what prior experience I had in the field of production, as well as why I think I'd be a good fit for NBC. After that, I received a second phone call. During this call certain job positions that were available were revealed to me, and I was asked which I would prefer. Then another phone call was initiated by a person from the specific department in which my choice was in. Was asked basic questions, and it seemed very promising. However I shortly received an email from the 3rd caller stating they decided to move forward with somebody else.

Question 1
What three divisions of NBC would you be interested in working with and why?
Pretty simple interview process. A Hirevue with four questions relating ot my interest in the general company, and which shows I would want to work on. Followed by a Zoom interview with two producers on the show. After this I completed a writing assignment and heard back with an offer about two weeks later.
Academic Year & Summer Internships both in Media Tech/Peacock. Resume submission, HireVue with 2 tries with basic questions. Recruiter matched to teams, usually interviewed by a hiring manager. Mostly behavioral. Received Academic Year & Summer Offer in separate cycles, invited back for subsequent Academic Year.
pretty easy and standard interview. They asked on average easy questions about my career and why i would be a good fit for the company. super nice and easy to talk to
