Interview
1st - teams call - quick easy and informative for both parties.
2nd - met the managers - met who my potential direct managers. would be. Whilst doing a role based interview on speaking to potential clients and questions you would ask.

Interview
I had a number of phone and Zoom interviews followed up by 2 face to face meetings at their Head Office in Faringdon. The process took around 3 weeks in total.
I was asked to return for the 2nd time to review the marketing aspect for the role to determine suitability which was fine. I was offered the position with the company which I was delighted with. The contract was sent to me to review over the weekend and sign. It was then that I saw that they were not prepared to commit to the £500 marketing monthly contribution in the contract, which they highlighted many times over the process, and was one of the reasons that attracted me to them. They also inserted a £250 & vat monthly charge to myself as a platform fee, which I highlight, was never documented to me at any time during the entire interview process, which in my opinion was both unacceptable and unprofessional. When I queried this point, the response was an apology and it was overlooked in the process. I rejected the contract on this basis. There are similar models that offer a far higher commission split from day one and the benefits of the support and marketing from Nested were sadly missing from the contractual agreement. I felt their process was extremely nontransparent and they should have been upfront from the start. I felt their communication in replying to me with queries and feedback was delayed time and time again and the whole process left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I believed we were an excellent match other than the contractual terms. As employers I found them amicable, and on a 121 basis there was no problem at all. I felt they were protecting their shareholders and were reluctant to contractually commit long term to their promises which was disappointing. A job offer that financially committed me to £3k a year from day 1 was not what I was looking for on these commission terms. I felt they wasted my time.

Experience in the industry. How I would develop and grow region etc.
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We are sorry to hear this about your experience with us. You were the first potential Area Partner that we met with and we have been improving the process over the past couple of months to ensure everything is really transparent. We have worked hard to make sure that we are offering the best possible package for our Area Partners and this includes access to a support loan, valuation leads provided every month with an additional £500 per month in local marketing spend to deploy as you wish, our bespoke technology platform and app and all admin, telephone answering, enquiry handling and sales progression dealt with by the Nested support team. We always try our best to get back to people as quickly as possible but this may not always be as quickly as we’d like. We are sorry that it didn’t work out and we wish you all the best for the future.

Interview
Super quick process whilst still conducting really thorough interviews. Didn't feel like I was being interrogated, and felt I had the opportunity to really explain my skills and portfolio. Always kept updated on the process and was provided detailed feedback even though I didn't get the role. Overall really friendly process that I thoroughly enjoyed.
