I applied through college or university. I interviewed at New York Life
Interview
No question asked by interviewer. No review of my resume. He only talked about the education benefit the company offered and you "bright" future with the company. There was many empty office cubicles in the office and he told me that many workers were working remotely.
Utterly scam call. Steer steep away from them.

Question 1
Will you be available for the second round interview next Wednesday?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Pittsburgh, PA) in Dec 2011
Interview
Very easy. They're trying to figure out if you're a total lazy bum that can't even sell to your folks. If you are not that kind of person, you move on. The process is very professional and they make you feel at ease. If you don't know the insurance business, barriers to entry are almost nonexistent. It's staying and building a client base that's a butt-kicker, especially if it's commission/bonus-based like NYL.
