Interview
I recently interviewed for a position that was advertised as a "Financial Professional -Entry Level (Associate)," but it turned out the role was actually for a Financial Advisor, which was unexpected and a bit confusing.
During the interview, I found the questions to be quite broad. While I was doing my best to answer, I was repeatedly told that my responses weren’t detailed or specific enough, which was discouraging. The interviewer seemed to expect very in-depth answers for general questions, and it felt challenging to meet those expectations despite my best efforts.
I would recommend more clarity in both the job posting and the interview approach. Clearer, more specific questions aligned with the role would help candidates better prepare and provide more relevant answers.

Very informative interview process. Explained clearly the training process, goals of the job, and compensation structure (which is rather complicated!). Helped to understand what was needed and tools available to succeed.

Most of the questions will be behavioral, focusing on why I want to join the firm, what specifically interests me about the role, and whether I understand the responsibilities of the job. They may also ask situational questions, such as describing a time I managed risk or demonstrating how I handle time management and prioritization.
