Interview
General recruiter call to gauge interest of teams, they had me matched up with a few interested teams from the beginning and then I met with each one individually. Initial round was behavioral with team member followed by half behavioral half technical with hiring manager.

Question 1
What previous experience have you had with technologies in our stack
Phone, hiring manager, technical. The process in my opinion is just a vibe check once you can demonstrate you meet the bar with tech that the team uses. Heavy on values and past experiences.
I applied for the Software Engineer internship and got an email saying they wanted to schedule an interview after a few weeks. The email also asked to fill out a Google Form which I did, and after waiting another 3+ weeks and reaching out to the recruiter multiple times, I got ghosted with no next steps.
Terrible experience - used to be really excited about NYT but the hiring process really turned me off to applying again as I saw it as a reflection of what the company is like.
