Terrible experience interviewing at the Virginia Brach, Virginia HQ location. Companies are requiring “assignments” for applicants in the interview process after the fact as if they don’t trust your qualifications and experience. I had an in person panel interview initially. I received a follow up email and an assignment to complete. I was ghosted after submitting my assignment. A free task completed for them - taking advantage of those in this current job market. Absolutely terrible.
There were two interviewers, it was conducted through Zoom and then they scheduled me with a meet & greet with the General Manager which was really quick lasted 15 mins
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Nexcom (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview was laughably easy — most of the questions were basic, and I actually found myself explaining concepts back to the interviewer. It was pretty clear my knowledge was way ahead of what they were ready to discuss, and some of the topics I brought up were clearly flying over their heads. HR (handled by a Danish company called Experthub — be aware) even told me I was the only candidate who passed all stages and they just needed to finalize things — but then they pulled out at the last minute without a single explanation. Classy move.

Question 1
Mostly basic stuff — Kubernetes fundamentals and some very entry-level AWS questions. Nothing challenging at all.
