      Customer Service Interview

      Oct 13, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Next Jump (New York, NY) in Apr 2012

      Interview

Terrible. Over the top, arrogant process with very self unaware employees. Not sure who they think they are but obviously been sold the cult status which is a shame. Certain type of person stays here. I was in a bind and needed a job, but everything I saw once in the job was very much in line with the interview process. So bad.

      Easy interview

      Interview

Got set up with an interview through an employment agency. After a interview I was offered to start the next day, I was very impressed with the company and excited to start working. I wasn't happy with the hours or amount of pay but in this economy a job is a job.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Next Jump (New York, NY) in Apr 2013

      Interview

It was an awful experience. I know this as I spent some time temping there and was offered the chance to apply full time. As I was naive (being new to the job culture in NYC) and applied to keep my options open. Questionnaire, phone interview, first round (presentation), second round, third round (presentation and also the round I will focus on) and then after 2 months that's it. If I'm honest, the 2 people I met from round 1 and 2 were nice enough but the third round is one which I feel the need to review. I met with a director of finance and receptionist. There was inappropriate language aimed at my experience and skills as well as humiliating tactics to belittle my experience and skill set. I left that interview deflated and defeated. They had managed to completely disrespect me as a person and completely mock my experience. It was so out of the blue. Everything before had gone ok(good enough to make it to the last round) but what came at me for 1 hour was very unexpected. Their unprofessional body language during my presentation completely threw me off. I thought surely this had been a test? No, no test. Very dissappointing experience

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Couldnt pinpoint one as there were many odd improvised questions throughout the interview
