GBS Emerging Leaders Associate: Data Science Interview

      Nov 11, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Tampa, FL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2015

      Interview

First interview was on-campus and they asked questions on paper where they wrote our answers down. The questions were behavioral and they asked about situations where you analyzed data and ran into problems. Second and final round interviews took place in Florida, where the first evening we did an office tour and dinner. The second day comprised of all-day interviews held at the hotel, including a case study, group challenge, and behavioral interview. The process went by smoothly and the interviews were a lot less intimidating than I expected. The case study was basically conversational and straightforward - they just wanted to know how you think. It is a very selective program, so unfortunately I was was not selected for the position. However, I appreciated their quick turn around (2-3 days) and their accommodation.
