Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The general standard questions about past experience and value that I can bring to the bank.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nordea Bank (Gdynia) in Sep 2019
Interview
I found the offer myself and applied via their website. First I had an introductory call with a recruiter, then another call with their Manager. After this call I received an invitation to a meeting in Nordea’s office. The Manager asked me how I imagine their organization’s structure and cooperation between Project Managers. He told me a bit about how they work and what I can expect as my daily duties. Unfortunately they didn’t have any project for me and it looked as if I would be waiting 3 months doing nothing? Actually he didn’t know what I could do while waiting which seemed very unprofessional. The first agreement was for 3 months (trial) but I declined.

Question 1
How do you imagine Nordea’s structure and cooperation between Managers.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nordea Bank (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Sep 2016
Interview
I was invited for a first interview within 3 weeks of submitting my application which was before the closing date of the advert.
In the invitation to the interview it was stated that the interview would last no longer than an hour (which they honoured).
I met with two employees, both senior managers within the group where I would be working if successful. They had taken the time to read my cv and cover letter which meant they were prepared for the interview.
I was told that I should expect to hear after at least two weeks as to whether there would be a second interview, I was contacted after a week and invited back for a second interview.
Again there was clear communication about when and how long the second interview should take and I was asked to complete an online test prior to the interview.
The second interview was with one of the people I had already met and someone from HR. The HR staff member led the interview process and it was focused around the results and analysis of the online test I had done - I was able to comment on the results and analysis from the test. I found it to be a very reasonable and interactive interview. At the end of the interview I was asked what my salary expectations were and what a possible start date could be if I was successful. I was told again to expect a two week period before I heard from them again as to whether I would go to the next stage.
I was contacted within that two week period and invited back to a third interview, it would be with the same two people as the second interview and would again not take longer than an hour.
The third interview lasted 10 minutes and was only for them to offer me a position and negotiate salary & start date
