The interview was taken by a plant manager of the OxyChem Division of Occidental. He asked me about my favorite mechanical engineering classes and behavioral questions such as when I overcame a difficult challenge or had to deal with a difficult team member.

Very laid back interview process with two staff members from the engineering team. I received the interview opportunity after attending my university career fair. They asked very normal behavioral questions.

An initial phone chat with a recruiter telling me that they wanted to set me up with an interview. The interview was set for the next day. It was a 30 minute panel of 4 engineers. Very standard STAR questions, and the interviewers were all very nice.

STAR method was requested to be used. It went very smooth. They basically want to know how easy it is to work with you and how you delegate yourself in a work place.
