I applied online. I interviewed at OfferUp (Bellevue, WA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I had a brief informational phone call with HR, after which we set up a technical interview with the hiring manager. This interview was completed through Google Hangouts, with a second application open for some coding exercises. It was a really great experience with a lot of discussion back and forth rather than just telling me to do something and then being done. After that, I went on-site for an interview loop that lasted 5.5 hours. I was able to speak with some of the people I would be completing work for, as well as data team members. Everyone was great about answering questions, giving me the layout and growth of the organization, telling me what the job would incorporate, and just being friendly.

Question 1
What are some of the metrics you think we look at to determine what we need to focus on for health, growth, etc.? What pieces of data do we need to come up with them?
A logic/problem solving question that needed to be answered. I also wrote some code that would let anybody find the answer with a simple command. It was completed as a discussion through the logic more than a test question.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at OfferUp in Nov 2018
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me did a 30-min call discussing about the overview of the job. Then came a one-hour technical phone interview containing very basic algorithm and SQL questions. Finally there is a one-hour hiring manager phone interview about a mixture of technical and behavioral questions.

Interview
Generally the first phone interview is talk about your background, what project and tech stack you used, and he introduced OfferUp's development and other thing etc. Not difficult and just to tell yourself.
Phone video Interview: The interviewer seems forgot this schedule, I send him message notify him. During this process, interviewer looks has no interest of me, tell sth about OfferUp, and ask some question about your project on resume, but I didn't prepare it well, and performed bad.
The coding part, he gave a simple array algorithm question, I just ask one question then start work on it. I think you should chat more details with him. Before I finish my code, interviewer start to check if bug exists, I really don't like that. You'd better tell him I will check my code myself, after I am done, I will tell you. Both parts I didn't perform well, this is my first interview and finally I didn't get onsite interview. Hope it will better next time.
