I applied online after learning of the position via Linkedin. Was contacted by a recruiter and had a very brief conversation with recruiter via phone. The recruiter was then supposed to prep me for the phone interview with the hiring manager, but he was difficult to get ahold of and was very last minute in organizing calls and arranging the call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed uninterested in speaking with me during second phone interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Okta
Interview
A relatively strong interview process and mostly clear on next steps by keeping you in the loop. The process consists of a phone screen with a recruiter, convo w/ HM, & mock call evaluation. There were some small hiccups with some info but overall great process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Okta in Sep 2018
Interview
The interview process was unorganized and vague. I got through three rounds of phone-call interviews and quickly got turned down from the position after the thrid. I spoke with a general recruiter, a sales manager, and then an outbound sales manager, the last of which was very unprofessional and standoffish from the beginning (as if he had already decided I wasn't a good fit for the role). Personally, I do not believe this company is fully matured and its identity is sort of lost between a startup and an enterprise which overall correlate to a weak company culture.

Question 1
Why is the role of SDR important to you and a company?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Okta (London, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
Hiring process took 2 months, very long but very exciting at the same time. Was disappointed by the last stage because you get thrown into a pool of information and with little help you have to do a cold call about the company that u have little knowledge of.
I did very well at all the stages but failed the final stage.
