I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman in Oct 2009
Interview
Applicants that got through the CV screening stage had to do a numerical and verbal test. Somewhat similar to GMAT with 30 questions for each sections and very limited time (around 25 mins). After that, successful applicants had the 1st round of two 30 minute interviews: one CV-based, the other one with a case. Finally, there were 3 more interviews in the final round - all based on cracking a case. Cases for the Financial Track were quite comprehensive and numerical.

Question 1
My interviewer decided to switch to one of the languages that I indicated as conversational on my CV, that was a bit unexpected
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
