I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (London, England)
Interview
1) CV and cover letter screening.
2) Online numerical & verbal reasoning tests (probably the hardest test I've done, don't expect to be anywhere near finishing, this is negatively marked).
3) 1st round interview: one 30 min competency based interview with a junior member of OW, followed by a 30 min case study with a principal/partner. Brain teasers are not uncommon at this stage.
4) final round: 3x 30min competency based interviews with partners. One 30min case study with a partner. One 1h case presentation (15min preparation time followed by 45min presenting/questions) in front of a panel of consultants. One of the heaviest stages of interviews I've done.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Competency questions quite unorthodox (not just the standard leadership/teamwork)
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
