I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman in Jul 2010
Interview
Applied online and spoke with a consultant over the phone about their practice - very professional and helpful. Was asked to take a quantitative aptitude test which lasts for ~30 min and is moderately difficult with negative points for wrong answers (so no guesswork). Once I passed this, I was scheduled to have a phone interview with a consultant that lasted 30 min. The interview was strictly a case with no fit questions. I did have 5 min at the end to ask questions about the firm but I was asked no personal fit questions. The typical interview process is 2 stages (first stage typically consisting of 2 interviews and the second stage consisting of 3 more interviews). I was told that this phone interview would replace the first stage and getting through it would mean going to the second/final round. Failed to make it, interviewer got back to me within 48 hours and gave useful feedback. A positive experience overall.

Question 1
A large US pharma company plans to enter the Canadian vaccine market for a specific vaccine. Please size the revenue opportunity and assess whether the client should enter the market.
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
