I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied through school process and ultimately received an on campus interview. Went through a first round consisting of 1 fit and 1 case interview, then a final round consisting of a presentation case and some more fit interviews. Ultimately the people were friendly, and the cases were more open ended than other firms.
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
