I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Open Systems Technologies
Interview
A recruiter reach out to me about a position they had available. We chatted on the phone for about half an hour and then she said she would try to get an in person interview scheduled. Went to their office and met a couple people in their conference room. It was a little bit of an awkward interview and everyone I spoke to asked me the same exact questions. They should have either just done a panel interview, or planned different questions to ask me. Overall, the questions were pretty basic and all about my last job. They told me they would reach out to me within the next business day but I never heard anything back from them.
The process for this position was supposed to be a phone screen and in person interview. After the in person interview, I would not have felt comfortable moving forward with them because there was just something strange about how they dodged my questions. I kept asking about their office culture and the only answer i would get is "I wear jeans to work every day". I'm not sure if it was just a mutual mismatch, but I walked out there feeling like I knew nothing about the company.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Open Systems Technologies (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
It was very informal, you meet a senior guy who either says "thanks we'll see you later" or passes you on to one of the 4 partners. They sit you down, talk about your career and then they talk about their company culture to see how you'd fit in it.
