I applied online. I interviewed at OpenGov (Milwaukee, WI) in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process was very well organized and efficient. There was 1 phone screen followed by 3 1:1 zoom interviews. Each of them had structure and felt intentional but casual. Each person was enjoyable to talk to and very knowledgable about the company and their mission.

Question 1
All conversation felt organic with each person hoping to get to know me and how my skill set matched the position. No specific questions to note.
I recently interviewed at OpenGov, and it was one of the best interview processes I've experienced throughout my job search. It was evident throughout the experience that the culture at OpenGov is incredibly fast-paced with very competent people. Ben and Desiree were my main points of contact. They completed the entire interview process (which consisted of 5 rounds; 1 phone screening and 4 video interviews) in 1.5 weeks - a truly impressive efficiency level for any talent team. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into the process - I was provided with loads of resources about the company before the initial interviews, and all important information about the interview/ interviewer was always clearly conveyed. Overall, it was a really smooth experience and I am stoked to join such a wonderful team of high-performing yet affable people!
