I applied online. I interviewed at Optiver (Sydney) in Mar 2025
Interview
3rd round technical interview was very challenging. Asked 5 questions on fermi estimation with 2 different traders where for each set of 5 questions the spread you give on the estimation has to be correct, and then the cumulative fraction of the spread has to add up to 2.0. My interviewers were a little bit dismissive and didn't seem like they wanted to be there.
