I applied about 3 weeks prior to getting my first interview. Was called by a recruiter who quickly set it up. The interview was in-person and took about 30 minutes. Was told that the position I applied for was no longer available and that I was being considered for a closer office. That was fine.
Was interviewed by two directors. They asked me maybe 5 questions all together and even asked me to explain to them what a specific transportation service was that I brought up during an answer so that maybe they could use it to help their clinics with social work issues involving transportation. I would think given how conversational it was that I would be selected to go into the next round of interviews.
Got bad vibes after I asked about what the training was like. I left the interview, was not given any phone or email address to follow-up. Got sent a survey an hour after asking about the recruitment process and if I had been informed of a hiring decision. I am assuming they are just being unprofessional and ghosting me as I was told I would hear from a recruiter by the end of the week and that has now passed.
Very disappointed that I probably got rejected because I was interested in learning about the training and asked questioned related to being a social worker such as what is the leadership structure for social workers and how does your schedule for employees work. Maybe they had someone picked out and just wasted my time. Who knows.
