I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Optum (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2024
Interview
Very poor. They did not have python in their job spec, nor did they ask any python question during the first round. They asked SQL based questions which were answered correctly, as told to me by the interviewer. I was shocked to hear the feedback that they proceeded with someone who was knowing python. I mean dude you don't have python mentioned in your spec, nor did you ask me any questions on python despite me highlighting my python experience in my CV, still you rejecting me with that weird reason. I smell something fishy .Maybe some kind of arrangements with any other candidate. HR leadership need to be watchful here.

They reached out to me in October 2022 regarding the role , I went through 3 interview rounds and then complete silence, I took follow up and h.r would tell me your feedback is positive but the team has not come to a decision, they then told me that they would like to give an offer but the managers have gone on Christmas break will come back by Jan mid, I again took a follow up, they said they would like to offer but they don't have a role in the pipeline and again in Feb they matched me with same role another team in Feb and then complete silence for next 20 days. I again took a followup and then in March end they finally said you expertise is not aligned with the role. It only took them 6 months to decide that my expertise was not aligned
