I applied online. I interviewed at Oracle (Manila, Manila) in Mar 2023
Interview
This was during the height of the pandemic. There were multiple rounds of interviews (HR and Technical). HR interview had questions to get to know the applicant, see if we were fit for the role, etc. The 1st technical interview was a group Zoom call to get to know the potential manager and coworkers, and the 2nd round was similar to an aptitude exam to gauge our skills (proctored). It took almost six months for me to get a job offer, but I had already gotten a job elsewhere.
Pre-screening interview is with HR, next will be technical interview with live coding. Not yet done, still waiting for the schedule for the next interview, which is the live coding.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Zapopan) in Feb 2025
Interview

Question 1
Problema StepsClimbing Stairs. Basicamente es un problema que se resuelve con fobonnacci. Te preguntan la complejodad algótitmica y espacial.
The hiring process was slow, with updates on application progress typically taking around a week, and interviews scheduled two weeks after the previous step. This can lead to a lengthy overall process that takes around one and a half months.
Also note that some applicants also experienced uncertainty during the process, as there were instances of rescheduling or candidates no longer being under consideration without clear communication from Oracle.
With that said, I had positive and professional interactions with the team, and the interview questions were directly relevant to the role.

Question 1
Study common situational and behavioral interview questions. Focus on connecting your past experiences (as listed on your resume/CV) to the answers for these questions.
You will also be given an interview guide. Studying the skills and requirements outlined in the job description and interview guide will be your key for successfully passing the technical rounds.
