There were a total of 3 interviews, and they were all fairly easy. The first one was an initial, brief Get to Know You kind of thing. They also gave me the application that I had the option to take it home with me. I opted to fill it out there and made small talk with the assistant manager.
2 days later I called to follow up and ask what the status was on my application. They said it seems I meet the criteria, and had ample serving experience, and I was invited to take a basic skills/intelligence test. It was pretty simple multiple choice had some basic math problems and situational questions. (for example: a customer orders a drink, priced at $4, an appetizer at $6.50, and a steak at $14. Tax is 7%, what's the total bill?) There was also a short personality test ( i.e. - would your friends describe you as outgoing or shy?)
The third interview was me meeting with the general manager who explained the requirements and regulations of the company, how busy we get, what's expected from a server, etc. Then she asked me if how I felt about that, and if I could meet those expectations. Upon saying yes, I was offered the job. There was a week of training/orientation followed by a menu test and three days of shadowing. After that, I was an official server.
