I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group
Interview
Contacted to schedule an on-campus interview. Typical interview questions; tell me about yourself, why PNC, why the mortgage industry. Contacted about a week later for a second interview in Chicago. The first day consisted of a panel about PNC's mortgage division followed by a networking event with interviewers and executives. The second day consisted of 3 30 minute interviews.

Interview
After a campus interview I was flown to Chicago where we stayed at a nice hotel. When we got there they gave us an overview of the program, BY THE ACTUAL CEO, which was very impressive. After we went into another room for a networking session where you were supposed to meet and talk to the 3 people that were going to interview as well as other current employees or candidates. The next morning each had a session, lasting about an hour, of three interviews with 3 different people lasting about 10-15 min.

Not very difficult at all, it was very conversational, although there were a few scripted questions that were very typical, such as questions about working in groups or over coming obstacles.

Interview
First round of interviews were on campus. They basically see if you are qualified for the position, can speak to your experiences, and have a genuine interest in the company / program. If selected, the second round is in Chicago. Structured very well, the "super day" is meant to see if you are ready for the position and how well you compare to other candidates.
