Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Kalamazoo, MI) in Apr 2013
Interview
Very pleasant, quick, enthusiastic interviewees. I think that people can do well as long as they have customer service experience and are able to utilize phone and computer systems. All in all it was as intensive as any interview with a fortune 500 company, but once you're in its a great company with alot of room to grow, especially if you start in the call center. It is a great place to gain experience and if you can prove yourself there managment will follow and really support your development
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you had to help a customer and really made an impact on their life
I initially was contacted through a recruiter to apply for the job. I applied and was sent an IQ test to take. They make you take several quizzes if they're interested in you. After you complete the series of quizzes (and pass them) you are then scheduled for a phone interview which last about 5-10 minutes. If you pass the phone screening, you are then instructed to report to their hiring event. There you will have a group interview with 6-8 other people and 2 interviewers tag teaming you. They ask 5 situational questions and then make you watch 3 videos. They'll send you a rejection email the next day if they don't like you. If they do like you,you should expect a call within a week to except the job offer.

Interview
Previously interviewing with PNC and accepting the job offer, PNC has a 3 step interviewing/ hiring process. After applying, if the HR has interest you will get a phone call. It's a questionnaire that you pretty much go re-submit your schedule. Be courteous and professional to the HR. Show interest! After that is complete they will send you a personality test to take. Before they hang up they will tell you that they are going to look over your application and if interested they will call you back. Wait 1-3 days, if you get a call back you will be into the 2nd interviewing process. This is the customer service (phone interview) part. a consultant will set up a time to call you for this process. It takes close to 30 minutes to complete. They are the "give a time" example questions. Be precise! after that I had a panel interview, me and 20 others around a meeting table where we were asked the same questions and had to answer 1 by 1 to the HR and other high up supervisors. about a week after that interview took place, I got the call to accept the job offer. They are very competitive pay, therefor I took the job! Key things to always remember interviewing, especially with PNC is; dress to success and professionalism.
