Company took three rounds - technical discussion, take home assignment and fitment. Technical discussion was simple with basic questions about metrics to score the model, imputation techniques etc. Take home assignment was supposed to be completed in a day or max 2 days post which there was another discussion on it. Finally in the fitment round the person asked about class imbalance and ways to deal with it and about switching in 15 months. This was the worst part as the person started with I'll drop the call if the answers don't feel genuine and asked to build his confidence and there I was thinking that I'm interviewing for an engineering position. This line of questioning seems pointless as they were hiring a contractor so switching was a moo point.
