I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Panera Bread (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online and called back 2 to 3 days later.
The woman said she'd let them know that I called.
A week later, I got a call for an interview in two days.
I was nervous, but for no reason. The staff are really nice with a smile on their face and the environment is very chill and casual.
When I came in, I told them I was here for an interview and they gave me a free drink and sat down. Didn't wait to long at all, maybe 5 to 10 minutes.
I was sat down and he asked me a few very casual questions. Eventually he said I'd be a great fit and that he was offering me the job.
Overall, the interview lasted about 15 minutes and was very positive and 'to the point'.
It was super easy! I applied and got an interview with them within a day. The interview was conducted in person, and was very conversational. The interview only lasted about ten to fifteen minutes.

They asked about job availability and work experience. They also listed out the job requirements and made sure to comply with them. Overall, not bad-it was pretty easy and simple.
