I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Party City (Conyers, GA) in Jun 2008
Interview
I was called into a intervies with 2 managers and they played good cop bad cop and asked me a few questions and they told me they would call me back. Later that day I was called with a job offer. I thought the employees were nice and the store looked like a fun place to work.
Pretty easy and informal interview, went over my resume and asked about relevant experiences and if I had worked with POS systems before. Discussed when I would start and when I would hear back.
1st phone call to schedule in person interview. Very easy one on one interview. They just ask you to tell them about yourself, your availability, how you handle working with others, strengths you think you will bring to the job, etc.
