I applied online. I interviewed at PayItMonthly (Cheltenham, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
I was invited to an informal interview via Teams to discuss the role, my experience, and the next steps in the recruitment process. During the interview, I was told I would hear back within a few days, with a specific timeframe given for when a decision would be communicated. It's now been over a week and a half since that deadline passed, and I haven't received any update or communication at all.
I understand that not every candidate will progress, and I have no issue with being unsuccessful. What I do find disappointing is the complete lack of communication. Sending a brief email to let a candidate know the outcome is, in my opinion, the bare minimum and a basic professional courtesy.
For me, this reflects on the company's culture and how it treats people throughout the hiring process. If a company can't communicate respectfully with candidates after investing their time in an interview, I think that's a red flag prospective applicants should take into consideration.

Interview
I wish I’d checked reviews before taking on their design task. Like others, I put in significant effort but received no feedback or response, which was disappointing. A brief message acknowledging my submission would’ve taken 2-3 minutes and shown basic professionalism. Sharing this to help others avoid similar experiences.

Interview
Did an online test for personality, and had a short chat with the owner of the company via Teams. I then attended a 2hr interview with the CTO and the company owner. A strange interview with some odd questions but quite friendly. Was then completely ghosted, sent two follow up emails with no response. Utterly outrageous rudeness and a waste of over a day of my time. Avoid at all costs.
