Over the course of 2 months, I had 7 interviews. I was told that I was one of four candidates remaining for two positions. In speaking with the leadership team in the last 3 interviews, two of the directors smirked and laughed when I asked when they planned to hire for the role and said "just hang in there". The entire process felt like a humiliation ritual, as I'm sure they already had individuals in mind that they wanted to hire, and were comfortable with wasting my time. The recruiter even called to tell me at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday, after waiting a week to hear back, that I was not selected. She stated that she was unable to share any info regarding why or give me any feedback for future improvement. I'm glad I went through the full process because it was a lesson learned and I will NEVER do it again for any other organization.
