I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PayPal (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2013
Interview
The process was good. It was a little long but that was ok at the time.
The position was re-profiled during my interview process, making it a more attractive role for me.
The interviewers were nice and probed a lot. There wasn't a lot of 'selling' of paypal though. eg no talk of benefits etc
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were very specific about how i'd solve a particular problem. no other questions were other than around the issue they were fazing for the coming months
I applied through other source. I interviewed at PayPal (Indi, Karnataka)
Interview
Initial phone screening, which was supposed to be for 20-30 minutes but lasted for more than an hour. And another discussion with somebody who heads a specific hiring and the interviewer did not even turn on his camera and I felt I was speaking to a black screen or an automated voice.
After the second level discussion did not even hear any feedback not even as an acknowledgement for the time invested regardless of the outcome and it is disappointing to see from such employers such as PayPal.
Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We constantly aim to create the best possible candidate experience, but admittedly things can always be improved. Your feedback is valuable and will help us understand how we can evolve our interview process.
I applied online. I interviewed at PayPal (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
PayPal typically hires all recruiters, sourcers and coordinators on as contractors before converting them to FTE's. Found posting online, submitted my resume and received an invite to interview. The phone interviews were tough and thorough. Each interviewer covered a different topic. No trick questions here or nonsense tests, they really want to see what your level of expertise is. Personally, I enjoyed the grilling and each interviewer was open and honest about the expectations of the role and environment.

Question 1
Your experience etc., but mainly about what it is like internally and how would you handle certain situations.
