      Full Stack Web Developer Interview

      Feb 3, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at PayPal (New York, NY) in Nov 2021

      Interview

Received my first phone interview with the recruiter, which leads to the second with the hiring manager. After that, I was told not to study leetcode but to do more React practices and expect to build a web application using an online coding platform for the third interview. In the third interview, I received 4 algorithm questions (Leetcode style) instead and did not touch on React at all. I'm fine with doing algorithms for interviews, but at least let your candidates or recruiters know so they can accurately tell candidates what to expect. I mostly studied React and Node.js which are in the job description, but none of those were tested during the interview. Other than that, it was a smooth process.

They ask you about your projects and then test you on JavaScript skills.
