      Compliane Associate Interview

      May 4, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Payoneer (New York, NY) in May 2016

      Interview

The last person I spoke with an older woman from HR, first name being with an A. During her questioning I was a bit concerned about her asking if I had a family/ married or if I have children. I am not sure why that would be significant to the role or if that should have been asked any at all. Either way I thought that her line of questioning was very inappropriate. I informed the recruiter that I had an unpleasant experience and was no longer interested in the opportunity. Because of my experience, I would not want to work there as it sets the tone and climate of the company. It would be great if they could encourage training within HR on the do's and dont's of how to conduct an interview with regards to discriminatory type questions.
