I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PepsiCo (San Fernando, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
My interview was scheduled for 9am at the Pepsico Warehouse in San Fernando but the interviewer didn't show up until 25 minutes later. She decided to not show me the 15 minute instructional video of the job because she was running late, did a quick 3 question interview, and the merchandiser test was just a quick 1 minute demonstration on if i knew how to use a pallet jack(I do) but not the stacking test(She was running late and didn't have time to have a pallet ready for me to stock). The interview part was easy but everything else was a huge disappointment. I waited one week for a response and I didn't get the job(I hope the interviewer's lack of professional time management wasn't the cause of me losing a job because it's not my fault she came in 25 minutes late).

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Conroe, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview was more than frustrating for me. I arrived 10 minutes early to an empty lobby. I figured they were busy and there wasn't a bell to ring or anything to that effect. I sat there for about 15 minutes when the next interviewer came in. We began speaking and about 30 minutes later, somebody finally came out. They came to speak with that interviewer and allegedly, I was not on the roster. I offered to reschedule since I had the free time and was told their scheduler was on vacation for two weeks so they didn't want to make me wait that long. They got me into an office with somebody who clearly had other things they were taking care of and seemed annoyed by being pulled away to interview me. After the third eye roll and frustrated sigh with an explanation of benefits I've already read, I reiterated that I am more than happy to reschedule if they needed me to. I was not asked any questions about previous employment, just given information about the company followed by a signing of a sheet claiming I knew what was explained to me. At this point, I thought either they already knew they weren't going to hire me, or the interviewer believed it was onboarding information and not an interview. He rushed through everything and in a spin I was back out front with a promise of a callback. About a week later, I was declined and frustrated as it felt like they didn't even give me an opportunity.
