I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PetSmart (Brentwood, TN)
Interview
I applied on the PetSmart website and got an over the phone interview. They schedule an in person interview the next day. On my application I put that I need Saturdays off, I confirmed that when the manager called me and when I came in they asked again if I would reconsider. Then I was told the position I was there for doesn't exist. The manager told me that if I got hired I would be cashier, animal care and occasional stoking and cleaning for $15/hourly. The person interviewing me made a comment about how I don't talk a lot after they just spending 10 minutes trying to talk about the job. I was told that since I seemed to quiet to them, I should interview to be a dog bather instead. They told me they'll let me know by the end of the week, and then they never called me.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Describe a time in detail you worked in a group and had a problem and how you took charge in solving it.
Process is very straightforward. Interview with management on location which then becomes an offer or not on site immediately after the interview. Will ask willingness to learn certain roles as well.
A few questions about my experience and ability to unload truck palettes. The assistant manager was wonderful and showed me around a bit, didn’t make me feel nervous, and actively listened.

Very solid and professional. It was straight to the point and covered the basics as well as some other business details. I am appreciative of the interviewer for taking the time.
