      Coordinator Interview

      Feb 28, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Pew Charitable Trusts

      Interview

Horrible experience. Was emailed and asked to schedule phone interview. Night before scheduled date get an email asking to reschedule. No problem. Day of rescheduled interview, I'm emailed again and asked to reschedule again, with no explanation. We rescheduled for the following week. Waited by phone never received call. Tried calling and emailing, didn't hear back. Over a week later recruiter emails again asking to reschedule for the next day, still no explanation. I said yes. Surprise surprise next day recruiter doesn't call, and doesn't respond to my email. Complete waste of time.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pew Charitable Trusts (Washington, DC) in Feb 2024

      Interview

I was approached by an internal Talent Acquisition Associate who worked with me on an initial phone screening. After that, I was scheduled for a panel interview with two individuals. At that time, they provided the benefit details, which was nice to know ahead of the interview. I ended up not being selected, but they were very professional the entire time and let me know my status in a timely manner.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pew Charitable Trusts

      Interview

The interview process with Pew is very thorough. First, I was contacted for a phone interview and then I had an in person interview. After being scheduled for an in person interview, I had to complete a lengthy full application. The in person interview was conducted by two people in the department. I thought the interview went well but I did not receive a call back. I thought it was quite rude that I did not receive a call back after completing a long application ( similar to a government background check) and a one hour interview with multiple people. They could have at least politely declined me. Listen to the other Glassdoor reviewers when they tell you that this company does not appreciate people. The interviewers hinted to a very challenging environment throughout the interview.
