Senior Build and Release Engineer Interview

      Jul 18, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Philips (Bengaluru) in May 2015

      Interview

It is my worst experience with the interview process that ever had and that story as follows, I applied through a Job consultancy ( at a time 5 consultancies were taken my details to process, and thing was that they did not had any info about the position.) I got a call for F2F to attend @ Manayata Tech Park, Nagavara, Bengaluru, Karnataka, after a week. I was scheduled for 10.00 AM, but i waited for more time with out proper reason since the front office employees just show case, they did not hold any info on that day procedure. After 3 hrs, i was called for interview with a Sr SWE and it was taken 30 mins to finish. The interveiw level also not very difficulty. Then he told me that wait for 10 mins... I waited for 30 mins (then i came to know here just for sake they say wait for some time but that is not our actual time to wait). Then i was called for a F2F with Program manager and discussion was taken around 30 mins and it was completely about project management. then he also said wait for 10 mins ( Again i waited for 30 mins here too). Then HR came to me and asked to fill the Form and I was told to come on next working day for HR round. The very next working day, I got a call from him and informed that the interview panel is not available for this month, so wait up to the next inform. Here i decided that they were not interested in my profile since i tried to contact him and he is not replied properly. After a month, I got a call from that pointing me about my interview and requested me to attend for further rounds. I agreed since i don't want to loose opportunity. And the discussion is completely about general things with the HR manager and informed me to leave for the day. 'Have a cup of cool coffee', he added. And i was pretty confidant about my selection, and I was asked to submit all required docs by HR(Mithun). I sent all required docs the very next day. And then there is no update from the HR after the last discussion and very rude thing was he did not ready to lift my calls also or reply to my mails. My direct question to the Mithun, HR and the Management, Are you people making fun with candidates? and is it not a part of your responsibilities that candidate to be informed about their status.? What a worst management with name of standards.
