I worked for Pine Cove for a few years and their interview process is great, easy, and relaxed while making you feel included. However, if you choose to not work there or re-sign for the next year that inclusion slips through the cracks really fast.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Pine Cove
Engaging, belief driven, and conversational. They wanted to get to know me and my faith. They were interested and not afraid to ask follow up questions. Faith was the center of our conversation and made the mission of Pine Cove from start of applying through the interview. They really are about bumping the lamp.

Pine Cove’s Interviews are very relational. It’s more of a conversation than a traditional interview though there are a few tough questions. They really just want to gain further insight to your walk with the Lord. They called me a few days later and gave me 48 hours to respond to their offer.
- How often are you in the Word?
- Do you think *insert moral dilemma* is a sin, a grey area, or not a sin?

Interview was very in depth and asked some personal questions but that is expected since you are taking care of kids. The interviewer was very nice and easy to talk to until the very end of the interview. During interview I mentioned that I was married and they replied with a very judgmental "Oh." . The interviewer proceeded to ask questions (not apart of the interview questions) such as how will my marriage work if I am going to work at camp over the summer etc. I answer the questions but the interviewer seemed unsatisfied as they wrote something down and ended the interview. They acted as thought I noticed they were uneasy about me working there based on their invasive questions and reactions.
