Pinterest Recruiting
Long process to interview with the company! Took a while for the recruiter to get back to me. But overall an okay experience and would advise future candidates to really be prepared.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pinterest (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
I was an internal referral.
Interview process started with an initial phone screen with a recruiter on a Friday. She walked me through the position and discussed my history. By the end of the following week I was notified that they wanted to bring me onsite. By week 3 I was on the calendar to come in to interview.
Interview onsite was some of the best conversations I have ever experienced in an interview. Panelists were transparent, asked thoughtful questions and allowed time for me to ask questions as well. There was a lot of focus on the culture, which I appreciated, and I could see the culture positively coming through during the interview.
The recruiter was quick to follow-up and I had a verbal offer within days of the onsite. The recruiter understood what I was looking for in regards to position and compensation, and both expectations were met. Once I received the written offer I accepted.
Overall, a fair, timely and enjoyable recruitment process.
