Got contacted by the recruiter one day after I sent in my resume. The interview was scheduled the following week. The interview went smoothly. There was one primary interviewer and another shadowing. Interviewers are professional and welcoming.
Aside from that, everything else was horrible.
The recruiting coordinator *never* replied to any of my emails asking about the interview process. Completely radio silence. I looked up her LinkedIn and found out that she had liked some recruiters’ posts saying something along the line of candidates should send a thank you note to the recruiting coordinator and a lot of other bulls**t posts about how candidates should *behave*. Probably the worst recruiter I had to deal with so far. Please be good at your job before asking others to be grateful of you not even doing the bare minimum.
During the interview, I was told I would get the result in 2-3 days; it turned out I had to wait 1 month for an automated rejection email. When you like a candidate enough to invite them on a virtual onsite interview, please be a little bit more specific and personal with your rejection to show that you respect them and you’re mindful of their time being spent on a fruitless process.
Although I really like the interviewers who were super nice and personable, the recruiter and the hiring process turned me off so much that I’d probably never apply to this place again.
