Interviews for Top Jobs at Potpourri Group

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at Potpourri Group
The interview was a computer test I could have passed in 6th grade and a very uncomfortable conversation with an hr representative. When I answered her question honestly about having a criminal record, she literally laughed at me. I was never so uncomfortable and embarrassed in an interview. Also, they were only offering $14/ hour for the position.
- If You could have any job what would it be?

**Be aware that they're looking for the lowest possible salary that they would need to pay for the position!! It's evident right from the beginning... Salary and monetary discussions should never be discussed within the first interview, and yet they were very clear to let you know that they had a limit within the first 3 minutes of the interview - without even finding out what I was about, how I could help contribute, and what positive changes I could bring. This turned me right off, and I was more or less "disassociated" from that point going forward.
- Standardized questions surrounding the resume and work experience, and how you could fit into their company, etc...

it was very rigorous, i went through different managers. they were trying to get to know my real skills. i found it a very complete one. we went through the personality test to skills test.
- why did i leave my other job?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Billerica, MA
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Potpourri Group (Billerica, MA) in Sep 2015
I submitted my resume online and I immediately received an email offering for me to choose a time and date for the interview (the options were tomorrow or in 2 days). Seemed fast and desperate, so that was a red flag to me that they go through a high turnover rate. They had me fill out the application and a background check authorization form when I walked in. Waited in the lobby for about 5 minutes.
- On the application it asked what salary I was looking for. I put my desired pay rate in the box and as soon as the interviewer saw it said that the job starts at $9/hr. Who can survive off that?

Saw ad in local paper and called. I got a hold of HR they gave me time to come in. Told me to come in and waited for 10 mins and proceeded to interview. Told them my experience and they proceeded with offer. Then got drug test. Was hired on the spot.
- what experience do you have

Very easy. You need a basic IQ, a pulse, and heartbeat to get this job. It's not a creative job, it's repetitive and tiring work reading off a script all day. You'll be fine as long as you can type and read off a screen. An HR lady will bring you into a conference room to ask you your availibility, if you have any questions, and ask basic questions like where you went to school.
- How many years of cust service experience do you have? How do you react to an angry customer?
