Power Home Technologies interview questions

I applied for the job and had a phone interview within 24 hours. While on the phone, we set a video interview for the next day. I was a little bit nervous about the job because it seemed to easy to get a phone interview.

I sat down with another sales representative who had been at the company for a long time (nine years). During the interview he was very rude and answered about ten phone calls many of which were personal calls (I was there for about an hour). Other employees interrupted the interview as well. He boasted over and over about how much money he makes and even showed me his bank account on his phone which I found highly unprofessional. He proceeded to show me a company video of a party where he made a five second appearance, he apparently found this very important as he waited quite some time for it to buffer. I basically got a sales pitch about how much money I could make and how easy the job is. I was asked to come back the following week for training. The training lasted about three hours and was a joke. I did not feel as though I learned very much about the technology or how to make a sale. It was during the training I realized that this was not the job for me. The trainer, same employee I first interviewed with, basically told us we had to lie to potential clients about the prices of the different pieces of equipment in order to get a higher commission. He said if we sold the equipment to the clients at retail price we should put the money we could have made into his account. Another extremely unprofessional statement. I feel there is something quite unethical about doing business this way so I declined the position. Very disappointed in the employees approach to the interview, training, and the business itself.
