I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Premera Blue Cross (Spokane, WA) in Jan 2016
Interview
They have a recruiter that calls you and interviews over the phone. Then they call you back after calling references and checking work history. Then if they are interested, they call and set up interview time. You go to that location and meet with recruiter first, then they take you to meet with the manager and supervisor for a interview. If they choose to hire you, then the recruiter calls and let you know when your first day is, and you got to training.

Interview
The interviewing process was the most unprofessional process that I’ve ever experienced.
Filled out application and got a response maybe 2 days later saying that they wanted to move forward with a live interview. Scheduled the live interview. Spent time prepping as one should only for the interviewer not to show up on the scheduled day and time. Very disappointing but i understand things happen. So I reach out to them and reschedule. Luckily this time she shows up but never acknowledges or apologizes for them mishap the week prior. That’s a big red flag for me.
The interview went good. Was instructed to send in speed test results and that a someone would contact in a few days with next steps. I sent in the information they requested and sent a thank you email to my interviewer. No response. Not from the information they asked me to send in or from the thank you email. 2 weeks pass and I didn’t hear anything. No follow up.. nothing. I made a decision then that I would never work for this company. To unorganized and lack of accountability. First impressions are important. I understand that things happen but if you are not following up with potential candidates how are you treating the employees you already have. Disappointing for sure
