I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2008
Interview
The position I interviewed for reported to a former co-worker at another company, thus the opportunity for the interview. I Interviewed with several different people. The hiring manager, another manager in the department and a potential peer. Each interview was a one-on-one, being passed to different offices for each round. The interviewers made me feel very comfortable as they asked their questions. My concern with the interview was that for lunch, I was taken to their cafeteria where I had lunch with another candidate that was being interviewed the same day for the same position. Talk about a strained discussion during lunch. For anyone interviewing in the future, be sure to have examples of prior experience to show how it can be applied to the position you are interviewing for. Although I did not get the offer, and felt the lunch experience was an unfair 'test', I still think that this would be a great place to work.
