I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Protiviti (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2012
Interview
2 rounds of interviews. First round was on campus, two 30 minute interviews. Entirely behavioral / conversational. Got a feeling for the people side of Protiviti. This was a few years back, I'm told there are some case questions included now.
2nd round of interviews was a group office visit. Various activities with the other candidates and protiviti staff. Offer decisions are determined by group consensus after candidates leave.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about yourself, what is your background, what are your interests, why Protiviti, what are your strengths / weaknesses, etc. Some questions about risk and control.
Phone screening with the recruiter into behavioral and case study with directors. Process took about two to three weeks. Case study was provided 24 hours ahead of time but this was in 2018 so that process might be different
One behavioral interview, then one case study interview. Then sent the scenario ahead of time for preparation and then will ask questions about to see how many of the issues the interviewee was able to pick up along with potential recs to fix said issues
