      Risk Management Associate Interview

      Nov 2, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Newark, NJ
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2018

      Interview

First round was two 45 minute interviews on campus. Both were entirely behavioral, as the role doesn't require a background in finance. Final round was a morning presentation about the program in their Newark office, three behavioral interviews, a tour, and then lunch. While the final round was mostly behavioral, did get asked a few questions about interest in finance/knowledge of financial news/etc. Unclear how required that knowledge was, but definitely a focus on intellectual curiosity. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Received an offer five days later.
