I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix in Sep 2014
Interview
Good, It went very well. Went to the store in South Carolina. Waited for like 15 mins for the interview. As soon as we got to the other room he gave me a job offer on the spot. I got offer so quick because of my past work history in a grocery store. I wanted the Seafood specialist Job because its more pay but you have to work your way up for that.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Publix (New Port Richey, FL) in May 2019
Interview
I applied on their portal and went into the store to introduce myself with the manager. I had an interview set up for the following day. Very easy process. It is good to introduce with the store manager and the department manager you went to work in.

Question 1
What about your past would make you a good culture fit for Publix?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix
Interview
It depends on the location, I was referred by a friend. I talked to his boss and he did not have a position for me at that store so he sent me to his sons store up the street. I walked in, he took a good look at me and says I'm hiring him and hit me with a swab test.
However, I interviewed at a different location that I ended up not taking because the drive was too far and it was for a different position that I didn't want.
This interview was about 30 minutes and was very very intense. He went into far detail about "why publix?" What do you know about publix? Etc
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Publix (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2017
Interview
The interview process was very professional. It lasted a while, the interviewer hired me the same day. The setting of the interview was nice. The interview went well, I was pleased.
