Application
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PwC (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was recruited through a hiring manager from linkedin. There is a 3 step process (as others as stated). First interview was with HR, then a manager from the practice I was assigned (which was technical) and last call with the director (personality interview). Overall, the interview process was pretty straight forward and not difficult at all. They mainly wanted to get you and who you are as a person (rather than how much you actually know).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me more about yourself? What's your background like?
4 interview: 1 screening, 1 case, 2 behavioral. The case study is fairly open-ended. You need to go in with a basic understanding of business concepts, but you won't be quizzed on anything. The 2 behavioral are casual conversations. They are mainly looking for logic/reasoning skills, communication, and confidence. The hardest thing is getting an interview. I was lucky to have an employee referral.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a recent business transaction in the news.
4 rounds for lateral hires. The candidate must be well versed in the domain they are applying for as question will be pertaining to those. The interview should be okay if you are prepared
The interview process as a whole was conversational in nature and did not touch on any technical areas. Significant prior knowledge or experiences were not the priority. Not difficult overall.
