CV application online- very time consuming with over 10 questions each requiring 250 word responses, also a maths test, and English test. These were so intense and only 1minute to respond to each question with no calculator.
Phone interview- with HR, approximately 20minutes, asking about why you want to work for PwC, interests, and a current news item you are following. Female. Phone interview was 2 days after CV submitted. Invitation to have an interview after the phone interview.
Arranged for an interview the week after. Arrived at the offices, no one to greet you down stairs in lobby, straight to one of the levels. Receptionist did not even offer a glass of water. You sat waiting to be called with other nervous applicants.
You were called into a room and required to sit and re- do the Maths test to verify that you didn't cheat, one of the questions was 1389x4567 with no calculator- so old school long division, fractions etc.
Once you passed this test, you were lead to the Interview.
Interview with a director and a senior manager in a lovely board room. They were very friendly and the interview was great. It went for over 1 hour, and we talked about current news topics in the accounting world, sport and my CV. Had to bring spare copies of my CV for them. 2 Males.
Next was an office tour, which was nerve wracking as everyone looks at you and doesn't say hi.
Then another interview with a Partner, which I was not told about, luckily I had a spare CV on hand for her. Great interview, good questions, very friendly and they left a good impression.
Got the call for the job straight after the interview, and one week to accept.
